SRTE Rappel Racks can be used for a number of different purposes including extra long descents where friction can be added or subtracted during the descent, to compensate for heavy or wet ropes, enabling the operator to control the rate of descent with precision and safety. SRTE Rappel Rack can be used with Single or Double Rope up to 13mm. Safety has been built into all SRTE Rappel Racks from the style of the frame to the shape of the bars. The unique style of the FRAME ("U" shape) evenly distributes weight on both sides of the rack, eliminating distorting if shock loaded. The Bars (solid bars) while simple in appearance prevent the operator from threading the Descender incorrectly as they do not lock onto the frame.
