SRTE Rigging Plates are commonly used to separate lines preventing them from tangling in a rescue situation. SRTE Rigging Plates can also be used to direct the rope in the correct (safest) spot, i.e. the closest, safest anchor points may not be where you wish to descend, lines from these anchor points are connected to the rigging plate which centres and stabilises the system, allowing you to descend in the correct (safest) spot. The Oval Rigging Plate was especially designed for tilted or glass roofs. The rubber ring lifts the rigging plate allowing rope to be tied directly to the plate - eliminating karabiners, preventing damage to the roof. Removing the rubber ring increased the number of rigging points and protects the ring in non- roofing situations. The Large Rigging Plate is Rectangular in shape and the Small Rigging Plate Triangle in shape, with the main anchor point extra large.
